Thank you for your interest. Please read the information on the website about volunteering carefully and pay particular attention to the following:
Although volunteering means unpaid work, this must not affect the reliability, diligence and professionalism of the work to be carried out, as these qualities remain important prerequisites for joining us. If you agree to take part in a campaign, take on a project or carry out a job, then we must be able to rely on you completely. Reorganisations, if they are still possible, always cost additional time, which we then lack in order to be with the animals in need. Furthermore, a last-minute cancellation or the careless completion of a task could jeopardise the implementation or success of an entire project.
We organise most of our animal welfare activities via internal groups or events and use Facebook for this purpose. For many of these tasks you will therefore need your own Facebook account. However, access to Facebook is not necessary for other tasks such as translations, IT/website support, film contributions and fundraising. We ask for your understanding that we have chosen this route for organisational and administrative reasons. The aim of NetAP is to keep administrative costs as low as possible so that resources can continue to be used specifically for the animals.
We would also like to point out that the training of volunteers often takes up a lot of time, which we then lack elsewhere. For this reason, we are unfortunately unable to prioritise requests for one-off work. If you would like to volunteer regularly in your free time for the welfare of the animals and speak German fluently, we look forward to receiving your application. Please note that our communication on assignments is always in German.
