The NetAP Principles

All our activities are based on the following principles:

  • We do not restrict our respect for life solely to humans and we recognize animals as sentient beings.
  • We are convinced that animal protection also enhances the dignity of man.
  • We want to raise the status of the animals without lowering the one of humans.
  • The rights of animals are to be respected, their dignity is inviolable.
  • We do not differentiate between the individual species.
  • We respect the individuality and the specific need of each animal and adjust our actions accordingly.
  • We are present where the need is big and our help can sustainably improve the life quality of the affected animals.
  • We are strongly networked since we are convinced that together we can achieve more.
  • We involve local partners and authorities in the projects wherever possible.
  • We offer assistance in self-help to guarantee lasting success of the projects.
  • We are flexible and ensure quick decisions allowing us to proceed rapidly and unbureaucratically considering available resources.

Any donations received are used entirely for animal welfare.

This means:
  • Our board works on a voluntary basis
  • Our volunteers work on a voluntary basis
  • Office and warehouse space is provided and financed by the board
  • There are no expensive advertising campaigns
  • Expenses that do not directly benefit animal welfare are covered by the Board of Directors or patrons

Our actions are shaped by:

  • Sustainability and longevity
  • Transparency and fairness
  • Commitment and passion
  • Independence and partnership
