Education and Training

Expertise leads to more professional animal welfare. Accordingly, NetAP is committed to the training of veterinarians and animal welfare activists.

We provide training and education for veterinarians who wish to enhance their skills in animal welfare. Emphasis is placed on minimally invasive castration techniques, modern anesthesia and analgesia protocols, and optimal pre- and post-operative care. Our methods have established themselves as a quality standard and are therefore readily adopted, applied, and passed on by veterinarians and animal welfare organizations.

In in-house training sessions, we also regularly ensure that animal welfare staff have the necessary expertise to work professionally and sustainably during both castration campaigns and fieldwork.

Seminars and courses

To work effectively and efficiently in animal welfare and achieve sustainable success for the animals, one requires not only passion, patience, and perseverance but also expertise.

To share this knowledge with interested individuals, NetAP regularly conducts training events for veterinarians, animal welfare staff, and animal lovers. The content, location, date, and target audience of each event can be found in the corresponding announcement.

Research

We collaborate with the University of Zurich in various areas to support them in scientific research and non-animal testing methods (e.g., in the field of parasites, diseases, surgical techniques, anesthesia, etc.), with the aim of continuously improving animal welfare. The results from this collaboration are typically published by the university.
