Spaying and Neutering Program Bacau

The NetAP neutering programme in Bacau, which we launched at the end of 2019, is run by Dr Elena Berbece, owner of the ‘Amovet’ practice. Not only cats from destitute owners, but also feral and stray animals go through the programme. Using the traps provided by NetAP, the vet is also regularly out on the front line catching cats herself. In the reporting year, 991 cats were neutered.

Elena Berbece also runs a mini cat sanctuary and keeps all the animals until they are fully recovered. We regularly support her with deliveries of relief supplies.
