In 2012, we carried out a neutering campaign for the first time in the western Romanian city of Lugoj. This was followed by further operations on site.
Since 2014, we have been running an ongoing neutering programme together with Dr Marius Ragobete, which enables penniless owners to have their dogs and cats neutered free of charge. Local animal welfare activists also have the opportunity to have stray dogs and cats neutered free of charge on an ongoing basis as part of our programme.
We have equipped local animal welfare organisations with live traps to catch feral cats.
