Spaying and Neutering Program Transylvania

In 2025, we launched another neutering programme in Romania in collaboration with the organisation ‘Apuseni Spirit’. The starting point for this programme is the town of Câmpeni in the Transylvania region in central Romania.

With their mobile clinic, the team, together with veterinarian Dr Sorin Micaș, also makes regular trips to remote locations to enable the impoverished population in particular to have their pets neutered. At the same time, countless stray animals are caught and neutered during these campaigns. Our partner focuses on education, but is also politically active and tries to achieve improvements for animals and consistent enforcement through targeted petitions.
